We’re pleased to get an opportunity to hold a highly engaging and exciting AMA session with the Outlanders team. Morgan (@OutlandersTeam) Chief Operating Officer and Tor (@gotoism) Venture Lead of Outlanders, joined this session to shed light on Outlanders, and collaboration with Asva Labs. ✨ Section 1: Intro round

Q1. Welcome OUTLANDER to the Asva Community! Our community would love to listen to a little bit about yourself, your journey so far as a Venture Lead in Outlanders, and a short summary of Outlanders in your words. OUTLANDERS | TOR

Sure, I’d describe myself as a passionate gamer with a strong background in blockchain development and investing. As the Venture Lead in Outlanders, it’s been incredibly exciting to work with an excellent team of senior developers to bring this cutting-edge game to the play-to-earn market.

From coordinating the game design to defining key integrations with the Nakamoto Games software development kit, I have no doubt that the community would be impressed with the level of work we’ve put into building Outlanders.

Outlanders is a unique attempt to onboard gamers with all levels of blockchain experience, while also encouraging people to engage in productive physical activity. We combine the best of both worlds, allowing people to make money either by playing games (brain-activity), or looking after their physical health.

Q2. Many thanks for everyone’s introduction, Indeed a promising project with a strong vision! As Outlanders is a Play to Earn & Move to Earn Game so how can people generate income by playing as well as without playing? Can you please explain in-depth? OUTLANDERS | TOR

The concept is relatively simple. Players earn rewards by fighting and defeating monsters or opponents within the game in fierce battles. Defeated monsters drop NFT items that can either be collected and sold on the public marketplace or used to further level up the in-game character. Additionally, players can earn bountiful rewards by competing in and winning community contests, or forming gaming guilds to maximize yield.

However, the move-to-earn concept involves a lifestyle app with an inbuilt sensor that tracks the user’s footsteps and distance covered to reward physical activity. Users can then convert step count to in-game assets such as helmets, characters, and different power-up items. These items can in turn be traded on the marketplace or used to enhance their gameplay experience.

Q3. Amazing! That sounds like a solid opportunity for players! Moving further, can you please tell our community about the development and when can we expect the game to release on Mainnet? Any Roadmap to 2022 ahead? OUTLANDERS | TOR

After several years of active development, Outlanders is fully ready and scheduled to go live in June!!!

The game is currently being deployed on the BNB Chain with all gameplay environments set to become publicly available before the end of June. After our IDO and mainnet launch, we intend to carry out intensive marketing efforts to onboard users to Outlanders.

We have already built excellent partnerships with strategic influencers, media publications, and mainstream gaming ventures to accelerate early user adoption. The team will also focus on providing educational and engaging content to enable players to maximize gameplay and guild aspirations.

Q1.From @Kelly_Garina: About your NFTs, Can you explain further the utilities of these NFTs within your @PlayOutlanders platform? Are they meant to be held as simple collectibles or will they have additional benefits? Also, will you have your own marketplace to sell and buy the NFTs? OUTLANDERS | TOR

In-game assets within Outlanders are tokenized as NFTs, unlocking the potential of blockchain to allow gamers to truly own their assets. Hence, these assets are not mere collectibles, but serve as in-game characters, weapons, acquired land parcels, and so on.

Outlanders is also developing an official marketplace to allow players to buy and sell assets while also pioneering the development of infrastructure that allows players to set up individual marketplaces. The result will be a highly liquid market for all Outlanders’ assets, a feature currently lacking in some existing play-to-earn games.

This means every NFT has an in-game utility.

Q2. From @_KaiSa_zyra_ What makes you feel confident about the survival & sustainable success of the Outlanders project in the near future? Do you have a Token Burning plan to increase Token value and attract Investors to invest? OUTLANDERS | TOR

It’s our key advantage. Outlanders is the first MMORPG which is blockchain-based and brings earning opportunities to players despite their level of experience with cryptocurrency.

Everyone with an email address and password can start playing without connecting a Web3 wallet, a feature that is currently missing in most games. Outlanders is a first-mover in lowering the entry barrier and bringing play-to-earn to potentially millions of internet users worldwide. These attributes will play a key role in the survival and sustainability of our ecosystem.

A token burn mechanism will come into play once the Outlanders game goes live. This allows the team to define burn rate and other parameters that will accrue value, especially for long-term supporters.

Q3. From @Miraakter11 Many games don’t support mobiles, and that reduces the attraction of many players around the world. Can I play @PlayOutlanders on mobile and on PC too? Is there a version for Android and iOS, what does my PC need to be able to play it.? OUTLANDERS | TOR

Our focus on serving players with all levels of crypto experience has shaped Outlanders development. The game will initially be released as a lightweight browser-based application. This means users can immediately access it both on mobile and PC.

Over time, we plan to release both Android and iOS native applications to spur adoption. In summary, users will be able to access Outlanders on literally any device at launch, with an option to enjoy an enhanced experience when the native apps go live.

Q4. From @Gheordunesc Why do we need to own $LAND, what benefits does it have to be profitable for users? To ensure your strong growth, do you have a plan to build a strong community with many members who understand and are loyal to the foundation? OUTLANDERS | TOR

$LAND is the primary utility and governance token for the Outlanders ecosystem, with users requiring it to level up in-game and maximize rewards. $LAND is also required to build guilds within Outlanders.

Users must hold $LAND to develop guild strategies and vote on key decisions. $LAND tokens also serve as the exchange currency for buying and selling in-game assets on our NFT marketplace. These use cases give $LAND the potential to become more valuable as users onboard the Outlanders game and move-to-earn application.

Regarding community building, Outlanders have mapped out result-driven strategies to attract early users who will remain enthusiastic about our game and everything else that we’re building. Aside from utilizing influencer connections within and out the crypto space, Outlanders is committed to promoting top gamers as well as hosting lucrative and exciting community contests to keep users fully engaged.

On the move-to-earn front, our marketing team has devised live workout events, community AMAs, and other interactive measures to sustain user interest. An implementation of these strategies will ensure that Outlanders has an ever strong community who understand the core business proposition and actively work to realize the vision.

Q5. From @MBuloczka Are you planning to integrate with other different blockchain technologies to expand the ecosystem and generate more trust? OUTLANDERS | TOR

Yes. While we’re initially launching on the BNB Chain, the long-term goal is to integrate with other thriving networks with a large audience of gamers. At this time, on-chain data confirms that the BNB Chain ecosystem is the biggest for gaming. We’re also keeping tabs on Polygon, Solana, and Fantom with the objective of going cross-chain as their ecosystem develops.

Q1. Hello @OutlandersTeam @gotoism Do you have current competitors and what is special about the project that can attract users? OUTLANDERS | Morgan

Special about Outlanders is that Outlanders is the first blockchain based play2earn game which can be played by non-crypto natives. You don’t have to setup a WEB3 wallet first, you can immediately start playing just with an email address and password.

Besides that we’re the first one who’s combining a MMORPG with the latest Move2Earn trend.

Q2. What is the revenue model? How it can be beneficial for both investors and for project itself? @OutlandersTeam OUTLANDER | MORGAN

Outlanders takes a small fee from each NFT sale on its marketplace, we do have the same revenue model as OpenSea.

Q3. Hello @OutlandersTeam and @gotoism What’s your main focus right now, are you focused on the community or market/Exchange or the products? OUTLANDERS | MORGAN

Our main focus is the mainnet release. Our game is fully developed, we aim on holding 7–10 IDO’s before listing on exchanges and want to bring immediate utility to $LAND with an immediate mainnet release after token listing.

Q4. I am interested to invest in your project. When and where can I 𝐛𝐮𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐬? Is it already listed exchanges? OUTLANDERS | MORGAN

We’ll hold 7–10 IDO’s before listing on exchanges. After the token listing on exchanges we’ll immediately release our mainnet.

Q5. Hello.. Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space. @OutlandersTeam OUTLANDERS | TOR

This is our core proposition. We focus on attracting non crypto users with our ‘non crypto wallet required’ method.
